Sketching this week

It has been good to see you doing your sketching. Everyone sems to be enjoying this break from routine. Don’t forget your sketching assignment is due this Wednesday. The assignment is in this blog (click here)

After Wednesday the class will move off inot other directions for the remainder of the term. 3D work is a compulsory part of the course, but now we have covered that the foundation students can start to specialize as they look at their second project. The TQA3 students will need to explore some of the more advanced features of the 3DS Max software so that you will be propperly equiped to start your major projects. There is more theory to do as well, so we will get back to building our wiki site.

I have given you 2 examples this week. The first is a stop motion of a lego assembly. Lego provides a large number of stop motion options.

The second one I hesitate to show you. It is probably MA15+ so if you are squeamish don’t bother. It is an excellent low budget example of CGI character animation.
